Jennifer "JennCity" Arroyo (born March 20, 1975) is an American musician, television personality, producer, and business executive. She is known for her work as a bassist, her television appearances, and her leadership roles in the additive manufacturing industry. She is also recognized for her philanthropic efforts and contributions to alternative culture.
Music Career
[edit]Kittie (2002-2005)
[edit]JennCity gained prominence as the bassist for the Canadian metal band Kittie. She joined the band in 2002, playing on their albums Oracle (2001) and Until the End (2004). Her time with Kittie included extensive global touring and performing at several festivals.
Suicide City (2005-2010)
[edit]After her time with Kittie, Arroyo co-founded Suicide City, a New York-based band known for its blend of punk, metal, and hardcore. The band released the album Frenzy in 2009, and was recognized for its intense live performances. Suicide City disbanded in 2010.
Demilitia (2010-2012)
[edit]In 2010, Arroyo joined Demilitia, a thrash metal band where she played bass from 2010 to 2012. During her tenure with Demilitia, the band gained attention in the underground metal scene, known for their aggressive sound and energetic live shows.
Shiragirl (2014-present)
[edit]JennCity often performs with Shiragirl, a punk rock band led by Shira Yevin. The band is known for its activism and feminist themes, and they have participated in the Vans Warped Tour.
JennCity (Solo project)
[edit]JennCity launched her solo project under the moniker JennCity. She is known for writing songs that contain elements of metal, rock, and electronic music.
Television and Media

Big Brother 14 (2012): JennCity appeared on the CBS reality show Big Brother 14, where she became known for her strategic gameplay and unique style. She reached the jury stage, playing a key role in deciding the outcome of the competition.
Production and Hosting
• Jenncity Productions: JennCity founded Jenncity Productions, through which she produces content related to music and culture. She has hosted various podcasts and shows, focusing on interviews with figures from the hard rock and heavy metal scenes.
• Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival: Since 2018, JennCity has served as a host for the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival a prominent event that combines live music with tattoo artistry.
Philanthropy
